This December I’ll graduate from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with an emphasis in strategic communications. Over the past three and a half years, I’ve dabbled in news writing and editing, marketing, public relations, graphic design and video production. I would like to say I hated all of those except for one. That would have made it much easier for me to choose a career path (or so I thought). But alas, I loved them all.
Well a year and a half ago, I stumbled across this cool thing called content marketing. And good news! Developing content lets me combine all my unique experiences into one fantastic job. I’ve always been a storyteller and a writer. I’m a bit of a grammar nerd. I like setting goals and developing a strategy to reach those goals. I’m full of ideas and enthusiasm for my work. So in the end, my experiences all over the communications field ended up making me one of the best at what I do — developing content for businesses like yours.
